Our Next Come & Try Sessions
We welcome new paddlers each Sunday morning. Our session begins at 8:30am and ends around 11:30am. See below for more details on what to bring & expect.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at 8:30am for a warm welcome, an orientation and a safety drill.
What should I wear & bring?
Wear old clothes or active wear that you don't mind getting wet, extra thermals or layers of clothes, old trainers/paddling boots/flip flops. Bring a drink bottle, cap/hat, sunscreen, towel and a change of warm and dry clothes. We have good shower facilities with HOT water!
What if the weather looks bad?
We train rain or shine! Its a water sport! Just bring some extra clothes and a waterproof jacket if you have one.

Cheaper than a gym, Melbourne Flames is one of the best value sports clubs around! Membership includes a club rashie, admin fees, coaching, training, racing and access to our equipment.

Route #11 & #48 are our closest tram stops, with stop D18 about 100m away!
Parking in Docklands is limited so plan ahead.
Plenty of bike lockup areas!
