It's GOLD for the Aussie Masters Women in the 2000m race!

Great news for Australia, on day 1 of the World Championships in Tampa, the Masters Women (Senior A) have won GOLD for Australia in the 2000m turns race! Fantastic result, congratulations to Kim, Karen, Fiona, Sian and Georgina who were part of this champion crew!

 

 

 

There were more great results for Australia,  we believe Australia came third overall! Total medal tally of 15. One gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze.

 

Masters men's 10s competed in the open category and got 3 silvers in the 1000m, 500m and 200m.

 

Grand Masters and Masters women medaled in every category: GM women silver in the 2k, 1k, 500m and 200m; Masters women gold 2k, silver 1k and 200m and bronze in the 500m. Masters Mixed bronze in 2k and 1k. Premier women bronze in 1k and 200m.
